If you have an Ecclesiastical Endorsement hold on your account, follow the steps below to remove the hold.

  1. Open the Student Portal.

  2. Navigate to Documents > Ecclesiastical Endorsement.

  3. Select Begin My Endorsement.

  4. Your status will begin as Request Started.

  5. After a few minutes, the status will update to Meet with Bishop for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

    • If you are a Friend of the Church, the Ecclesiastical Endorsement page will display Meet with Bishop or Meet with Leader. Non-members can select and change their leader in the Student Portal if they prefer to meet with a clergy leader of their own faith.

  6. Meet with your bishop or leader.

  7. After completing the interview with your bishop or leader, the status will update to Meet with Stake Presidency or Meet with Chaplain.

  8. Meet with your stake president or chaplain.

  9. Once your endorsement has been approved, the hold will be removed from your account.
