Drop
- A drop happens before the drop deadline.
- You can drop a course during the first week of the block (Days 1-8)
- A dropped course does not appear on your transcript.
Withdraw
- A withdrawal happens after the drop deadline and before the withdrawal deadline.
- You can withdraw from a course after the first week (Days 9-29)
- A withdrawn course appears on your transcript with a W.
- A W does not affect GPA.

- A UW counts as a failing grade in GPA.
