Issue: A missing institute course on your academic record may prevent a transcript from being sent correctly to another school or program.
If a required institute course does not appear on your BYU-Pathway, Ensign College, or BYU-Idaho record, our Records team can help send an official institute transcript on your behalf. Please review the steps below to proceed.
Step 1: Verify Your Courses
Before requesting help, please verify that the institute course is missing:
- Log in to your Student Portal.
- Check your list of completed and in-progress courses.
- Confirm whether the institute course is missing from your record.
If the course appears incorrectly or is missing, continue with the steps below.
Step 2: Understanding When to Submit a Support Request
You should submit a support request if:
You completed an institute course that is not showing on your academic record
and
You need an official institute transcript sent to another school.
This applies to all institutions, including:
CES Institutions
BYU–Idaho
BYU (Provo)
Ensign College
Seminaries & Institutes
Non-CES Institutions (external college, university, credentialing program)
Step 3: How to Submit Your Request
If you need an institute transcript sent, follow these steps:
- Login to the Help Center Help Center and click +Submit New Request
- Title Request: Institute Transcript Request – Missing Course
- Product/Service: Transcripts – Records Request
- In the description list the following pieces of information,
- List the missing course(s)
- Your Full Name
- The email you prefer to be contacted at
- The reason for the transcript request (admissions, transfer evaluation, graduation, etc.)
- Provide destination school details including School name, Institution ID (if known), other school's department email address
- Date you need the transcript by (if unsure, write "Send as soon as possible.")
- Add any screenshots or documentation
5.Click Submit
Important Reminders
- Students cannot submit the institute transcript form themselves. Our Records team must complete it for you.
- Please make sure the receiving email you provide is an official institutional address.
- Providing all the needed details that were listed above will prevent delays and help us process your request as quickly as possible.
