New Registration is limited to students who have declared the following degrees under the 2024 catalog:

  • Applied Health
  • Applied Business
  • Communication
  • Family and Human Services
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Software Development

Step 1: Log In

  • Go to the student portal.
  • Enter your byupathway.edu email, then use your Church Account information.
  • Click Sign In.

Step 2: Go to the Registration Page

  • Click Academics on the left menu.
  • Click Class Schedule.

  • On the Class Schedule page, click Get Started.

 

Step 3: Verify your Program and your Block

You will be invited to verify your program, block, and whether the registration status for that block is open.

If you see a drop-down menu arrow next to your program, you will need to ensure you are choosing the correct program to continue registration in. Make sure you pick the BS program version with the date that is furthest in the future. Choosing the wrong version will result in issues with your registration.

  • Example: [Most recent or future date] BS Applied Health 2024A
  • Example [Most recent or future date] BS Software Development 2024SP

Dropping a Course

Follow steps 1-3 listed above.

  • In the Selected Courses box, locate the course you wish to unregister or drop.

Step 1: Select the course you want to drop

  • Click the Red minus (-) to select the course you need to remove.
  • Click on Register/Drop to move to the next step.

  • IMPORTANT: You have not completed removing the course until you finish the next steps.

Step 2: Review and Confirm

  • This gives you another opportunity to look over your choices. If you are satisfied, click Unregister at the bottom right.

Step 3: Get Confirmation

  • Look for a green banner showing that you have successfully unregistered.
  • After you see the green banner, click Close Window in the top right.

Step 4: Verify Classes Tile

  • Return to the Portal Home page.
  • Check the Classes tile in the bottom right to make sure your courses show up correctly.

Withdrawing from a Course

Follow steps 1-3 listed above

Step 1: Follow the link to withdraw

Click on the link that will take you to the page to withdraw

Step 2: Select the block 

The systems will only allow you to withdraw if you are past the first week of the block. If it is not allowing you to make the request, re-check the block you've chosen.

Step 4: Click the red icon

In the far right "Action" column, each course will show a red minus (-) icon.

Courses must be withdrawn one at a time. Please be patient, as it may take a moment for the system to process your request.

 

Step 5: Once it processes your withdrawal, you will get a confirmation message letting you know your action was successful

Step 6: Verify Classes Tile

  • Return to the Portal Home page.
  • Check the Classes tile in the bottom right to make sure your courses show up correctly.
