ELA Overview
The English Language Assessment (ELA) is a test of your English ability. It is part of the BYU-Pathway Worldwide application.
Your ELA score determines if you should start with:
- PathwayConnect
- EnglishConnect 3
- EnglishConnect 1 & 2
The test has two parts: Reading and Writing.
The writing section has two open-ended questions. The reading section has 15-30 multiple-choice questions.
It takes less than 60 minutes.
