Issue: Unable to see and select a gathering time in the student portal.
 
Causes and Solutions: Below are possible causes for this issue:
  • Cause: The Area Missionaries have not yet created a gathering time for the selected term.
  • Solution: Please keep checking regularly. If you do not see any gathering times available three (3) weeks before the start of a term, please submit a new support request in the Help Center.
     
  • Cause: You do not meet the age requirements:
    • PathwayConnect minimum age: 16.
    • EnglishConnect minimum age: 11.
  • Solution: Please submit a new support request in the Help Center and specify which days and times work best. A support agent will assign you to the closest available gathering time based on your request.
     
  • Cause: You have multiple timezones that you can select from, and the particular timezone you have selected may not have a gathering time created.
  • Solution: Please look through all available timezones to see if there are any available gathering times to choose from.
    • If a time does not work, check back later to see if other gathering times have been made available.
    • Note: if you are choosing a gathering time outside of your local timezone, please ensure you calculate when the meeting will take place in your timezone. You can calculate time zone differences using this tool: Time Zone Converter.

Note: there is no guarantee that a particular day and time will have an available gathering. You will need to select the best option based on what is available.
