What Could Prevent Me from Joining a BYU-Pathway Program?
Applicants seeking to participate in programs offered through BYU-Pathway Worldwide must meet the following criteria:
Age Requirements for Each Program:
EnglishConnect 3: 11 years of age and older
PathwayConnect:
16 years of age and older (High school completion required)
If the applicant is 16 or 17 years old and lives outside of the U.S., their application will undergo a manual review. The BYU-Pathway Worldwide manager who oversees the part of the world the applicant lives in will provide guidance on whether high school completion is required.
18 years of age and older (No high school completion required)
Certificates & Degrees: 17 years of age and older (High school completion required)
Other Participation Requirements:
Residency: You must live in a country approved for BYU-Pathway participation.
Religion: Your current religion must be approved for participation in the country where you live.
Legal Status: You must not have any unresolved legal actions, such as probation, fines, or being listed on a registry.
English Language Requirements: For EnglishConnect 3, you must meet the minimum English language level.
